Setting Menu Options

Ô NOTE Ô

Make sure to perform the Handset Registration after de-register the handset.

1.Press MENU/DEL (or the MENU soft key on the base). Select the Global Setup menu, and then the Dial Mode submenu.

2.Press to select Tone or Pulse (the initial setting is Tone).

3.Press SELECT/ (or the OK soft key on the base). You will hear a confirmation tone.

System Reset (Handset only)

System Reset is used to clear the handset’s ID from the main base unit, or the base ID from the handset.

De-register the Handset

Deregister HS clears the handset ID from the base. Use this option, for example, when you change the digital security code.

1.Press MENU/DEL (or the MENU soft key on the base). Select the System Reset menu, and then the Deregister HS submenu.

2.Press to select the handset ID to be de-registered from the list, and then press SELECT/ . Deregister HS? appears.

3.Press to select Yes, and then press SELECT/ . You will hear a confirmation tone.

When de-registration is complete,

Deregistration Complete appears.

4.After de-registering the handset, move to “Handset Registration” below. Ô
