To check or play your outgoing message via the base unit

You can check and play your current outgoing message at any time via your Quartet 3500 base unit.

Ans Press the ANS ON/OFF

On Off

button.

The prompt will announce either:

“Answer on, your outgoing message is...” and play your currently selected outgoing message.

Or

“Answer off”.

The base display will show P flashing alternating with the number of the outgoing message currently selected:

1for Answer and Record and

2 for Answer Only.

To check or play your outgoing message via the handset

You can check and play your current outgoing message at any time via your Quartet 3500 handset

Pick up the handset.

Press the UP or DOWN button until the display shows Answer Settings.

OK Press the OK option button.

The display will show Answer Mode.

Press the UP or DOWN button until the display shows Outgoing Message.

OK Press the OK option button.

Use the UP or DOWN button to highlight the mode you want to set, either: Answer and Record or Answer Only.

OK Press the OK option button.

The display will show Outgoing Message and the voice prompt will automatically announce via the handset “Your outgoing message is”, and play your message.
