Paging and internal calls

If you have multiple handsets registered with the base, the Diverse 1015 enables two handsets to talk to each other on an internal ÔintercomÕ call, while a third handset can be on an external call.

To page a handset from the base unit

You can alert handset users that they are wanted.

To make an internal intercom call to another handset

•Press the INT button. Display shows your handset number.

•Enter the number of the handset you want to call. The called handset will ring.

•To end the call, press the PHONE button or replace the handset on the base or charging unit.

•Press the GREEN button on the base. All handsets registered with the base will ring only. You cannot talk to the handset.

•To end paging, press the GREEN button.

If you have additional handsets, you can make internal intercom calls between the handsets.

To make an intercom call to the base unit

You can make an announcement over the base station loudspeaker. Make sure the loudspeaker volume is set to an audible level.

•Press the INT button.

•Dial 9691.

•Speak your announcement.

•Press the PHONE button to end.

To receive an internal call

•When the handset rings, the display flashes INT plus the number of the handset that is calling you – 2 in this example.

•To answer either press the PHONE button, or simply lift the handset off the base unit or charging unit.
