Using the web interface

Adjusting the sound

The sound reproduction can be adjusted to the required pitch (SOFT, NEUTRAL and BRIGHT).

Select Soft, Neutral or Bright under the heading Equalizer and click on Save.

Display text

The display text appears on the screen when the Avaya B179 is on hook.

Enter the text in the text field and click on Save.

Restarting the Avaya B179

Select Settings > System.

Restarting the phone application

This only restarts the phone software with the current settings. The restart takes about 30 seconds.

Click on Restart.

Restarting the phone

This shuts down and restarts the phone. This restart takes about three minutes.

Click on Reboot.
