Setting the Date/Time

European format:

 

Menu Alarm OK

Date/Time OK time 00:00 - 23:59 date 01.01.00 (dd.mm.yy) OK

U.S. format:

 

Menu Alarm OK

Date/Time OK time 00:00 - 12:59 a/p date 01/01/00 (mm/dd/yy) OK

(dd = day; mm = month; yy = year)

The user is requested to set the Date/Time if the DECT system does not provide it (like DECT R2 system). In case Date/Time is provided by the DECT system (like IP DECT system) the user should not change it because it will be updated based on system settings.

Menu: AVAYA (only available on IP DECT system)

This menu is for users who do not have Console Permission enabled. The AVAYA menu can be accessed by pressing the Menu softkey (in the idle state) or the Option softkey (when on an active call) for at least 2 seconds. The options available will depend on those configured on Avaya IP DECT Mobility Manager by your System Administrator and the state of the phone (Idle or active on a call).

Features available during an active call (if enabled on ADMM)

Directory

zYou can access either LDAP or TFTP directory. This feature can be used for looking up numbers, making calls or selecting a party for feature activation.

zPress and hold Options for at least 2 seconds and select Directory.

zChoosing the Directory Option will give you access to the following options if TFTP based directory used:

-External Dir opens the directory external numbers stored in the TFTP server database.

-Internal Dir opens the directory internal numbers stored in the TFTP server database.

zEnter the name and press OK.

zSelect the proper directory entry.
