NOTE: Up to 16 alphanumeric characters (including spaces) can be used for each name.

Handset Directory

New directory entries

Press the CENTER NavKey to enter the main menu.

When the directory is shown on the screen, press the CENTER NavKey to enter the directory menu.

Press the softkey NEW to insert a new entry.

Entering a name

Use the dial pad and the table below to enter a name (up to sixteen characters). Each press of a particular key will cause characters to be dis- played in the following order:

The cursor moves to the right automatically after two seconds or when you press another dial pad key or the RIGHT NavKey (press twice to enter

aspace). When the name is complete, press the softkey DONE.

Press the softkey ERASE or the LEFT NavKey

if you make a mistake.
