Setting call screening

This feature allows you to listen to the caller's messages while the caller is leaving them. If you wish to take the call, press /PHONE/FLASH or /SPEAKER on the handset or /SPEAKER on the telephone base when the caller is leaving the message.

Press SELECT/MENU to enter the Main menu.

Press ^DIR twice to reach the Answering System and then press SELECT/MENU to confirm.

Press ^DIR three times to reach the Call Screening screen and press SELECT/MENU to con- firm selection.

When CALL SCREENING is shown on screen, press VCID or ^DIR to select On or Off.

Press SELECT/MENU after selecting ON or OFF.

A confirmation tone will sound and the screen will show Choice saved.
