NOTE: You can exit the directory at any time without storing the entry. Simply press D.

Store a pause in a directory number

You can include a pause in a number stored in the directory. When you reach the place in the dialing sequence where you wish to enter a pause, press -until the screen displays:

JIMTERXNAMELLXX 555_ XXXXXXXXXXXXXXx PAUSEXNUMBERXXXx

Press Eto store a two second pause. Then continue entering the number. Each pause counts as one digit.
