Answering system

Remote access

You can access the answering system remotely by dialing your home telephone number from any touch-tone telephone.

To remotely access the answering system:

1.Dial your telephone number from any touch-tone telephone.

2.When the system answers, enter the two digit remote access code (19 is the default code, see page 17 to change it).

The system automatically announces the number of messages (new and/or old) if there are any, and then begin to play them.

3.You can also enter the following remote commands.

Press to listen to all messages.

Press to listen to new messages only.

Press to delete the current message (during playback).

Press twice to delete all old messages.

Press to repeat the current message (during playback).

Press twice to listen to the previous message.

Press to stop any operation (including recording).

Press to listen to a list of remote commands.

Press to skip to the next message (during playback).

Press to record a new announcement.

Press to turn the answering system on or off.

Press to end remote access (the call is terminated).

4.Hang up to end the call and save all undeleted messages.
