You want to change the PIN used to lock/unlock your phone (see Chapter "Locking Your Phone", 37 and "Unlocking your phone", 38).

Press the Menu Foxkey.
Scroll to Settings and press the Select Foxkey.
Scroll to General and press the Select Foxkey.
Scroll to PIN and press the Modify Foxkey.
➞The display reads Old PIN.
Enter the old PIN and confirm with the Ok Foxkey.
➞The display reads New PIN.
Enter the new PIN and confirm with the Ok Foxkey.
➞The display reads Confirm.
Enter the new PIN a second time and confirm with the Ok Foxkey.
➞The new PIN is stored.
Notes:
For each digit entered, the display shows an "*".
You can also modify the PIN using */# procedure *47 (see "User’s Guide */# Procedures as of I7.1").
