The Polycom CX300 phone provides a flexible and efficient means to access the advanced communication functions of Microsoft® Lync™ 2010.

The Polycom CX300 supports advanced functionality including:

•High definition audio for best possible voice calls

•Driver-less plug and play installation

If you require additional information or assistance with your new phone, contact your system administrator.

Before you connect the Polycom CX300 desktop phone to your computer, you must have Microsoft Lync 2010 (version 4.0.7457.0 or later) installed and running on your computer. If Microsoft Lync 2010 (version 4.0.7457.0 or later) is not installed on your computer, the “Sign In” message appears on the phone’s display. In this state, you can use the phone as an audio device only; you cannot place any calls.

Your computer must be running Windows XP Service Pack 3, Windows Vista Service Pack 1, and Windows 7 Service Pack x.

The Polycom CX300 desktop phone is also a compatible audio device for Microsoft Office Live Meeting.

No additional device drivers or software are required to use your Polycom CX300 desktop phone.
