Troubleshooting
If you still have difficulties after following the instructions in this section, disconnect the base unit’s AC adaptor and turn off the handset, then reconnect the base unit’s AC adaptor and turn on the handset.
General use
Problem | Cause/solution |
The handset does not | L The battery is empty or too weak to turn on the |

| L The base unit’s AC adaptor or telephone line |
| cord is not connected. Check the connections. |
| L If you are using a splitter to connect the unit, |
| remove the splitter and connect the unit to the |
| wall jack directly. If the unit operates properly, |
| check the splitter. |
| L Disconnect the base unit from the telephone |
| line and connect the line to a known working |
| telephone. If the working telephone operates |
| properly, contact our service personnel to |
| have the unit repaired. If the working |
| telephone does not operate properly, contact |
| your service provider/telephone company. |
