Remote Operation from a Touch Tone Phone

Setting the Remote Code

The 3-digit remote code prevents unauthorised use of your unit for listening recorded incoming/memo messages. The remote code is not preset.

Make sure that the power is ON (p. 12), and the unit is in the standby mode.

1Press .

2Press or until the arrow points

to “Setting Base”, then press .

•“Input Command” is displayed.

3Press .

•“Remote Operation” is displayed.

4Press 1 .

5Enter a 3-digit remote code number to set the remote operation ON.

Press to set the remote operation OFF.

6Press .

•A beep sounds.

•To change the remote code, repeat from step 2.

•If 5 beeps sound in step 5, a 3-digit number was not entered. Start again from step 2 and enter a 3-digit number.

•If a remote code is not programmed, you cannot use the unit remotely.
