1. PRESS- TO-TALK Button

Use the PRESS- TO-TALKbutton on the microphone to receive and transmit. Press the button to activate the transmitter and release the button to receive.

When transmitting, hold the microphone about two inches from your mouth and speak clearly in a normal voice.

2.TONE CALL CONTROL (CALL) Button

Use the TONE CALL CONTROL (Call) button to check, edit, or transmit the TX Selcalll D. Press the button once and the Selcalll D will be displayed. Under this condition you can change the Selcall ID (See page 16 for TX SELCALL ID Programming). To abort, momentarily press the Call button again. If you want

to transmit the existing code, press and hold the Call button for more than 1.5 seconds.
