●Resetting Alarm
The activated alarm is reset by any of the inputs below.
•The preset time has elapsed.
•The [■ STOP] button on the front panel is pressed.
•The alarm reset signal is supplied from the connected device.
Resetting changes the status of the recorder as follows:
•The recorder stops alarm recording.
•The buzzer, if activated, stops beeping.
•The recorder outputs an alarm recovery signal from the rear panel.
•The Alarm Out signal on the rear panel is reset.
■Copy to CompactFlash Card
The pictures recorded on the hard disk can be copied to a CompactFlash card for browsing on a personal computer. The picture quality depends on the card capacity and the quality in which the pictures were recorded.
The following card brand proved to be suitable in tests car- ried out at Panasonic:

Open the lid.
Push the lever to the right after inserting the card.

1.Insert a CompactFlash card.
The card must be formatted for Windows 95 or Windows 98. Do not reverse the card when insert- ing.
2.Display the desired picture on the monitor.
Refer to Skip Playback and Step Playback on page 35 for search operations.
3.Press the JogDial to freeze the image just a few fields prior to where you wish to start copying.
4.Press the LCD button downward to display [Copy To Card].
