Stacking Features

Parallel Stacking

Allows the inverter and charger capacity of a system to be doubled. Parallel-stacked inverter/chargers can operate from different battery banks, meaning each unit is connected to its own battery bank.

However, it is highly recommended to only use a single battery bank. See “DC Connections for Stacked Inverters” on page 43.

Do NOT connect a stacking cable to the STACKING port on the front panel of a Freedom SW 230V to configure two units for parallel stacking. The port is reserved for future use.
