8-2 Troubleshooting

Raster engraving appears sharp	∙	Dirty laser system	∙ Clean all optics, rails, bearings and belts
on both ends of the engraving	∙	Something is loose	∙ Check X-axis bearings, drive gear, idler
but fuzzy in the middle	∙	System needs tuning		pulley, belt, and optics
			∙ Run “Tuning” feature in printer driver
	∙	Worn X-axis belt and/or drive gear		version 4.17 and higher
			∙ Replace belt and/or drive gear, and run
				“Tuning” feature
	∙ Tickle setting too low		∙ Adjust setting higher and recheck
	∙	Faulty laser tube	∙	Replace laser tube
