OPERATION

Operating modes

The machine can be operated in three different modes: transport mode, set-up mode and work mode. All commands in each of the modes are described in this section.

Work mode - In this mode you can operate every- thing except the caterpillar tracks and outriggers.

Set-up mode - In this mode you can operate the caterpillar tracks and outriggers.

Transport mode - In this mode you can operate the caterpillar tracks and some arm functions.

If no controls have been used for three seconds the machine goes into idling mode. In this mode hydraulic oil is pumped into the tank and there is no pressure in the cylinders.

Option

External tools

External hydraulic tools can be connected to the ma- chine. The mode is activated by pressing the button for external tools. In this mode the machine cannot be operated from the remote control.

Emergency operation

IMPORTANT!

To be driven in the emergency operation mode the machine must be Þtted with hand levers.

Emergency operation is used in conjunction with terminal or control system problems. The mode is activated by putting the knob into the position for emergency operation.

When emergency operation is activated the machine turns off and has to be restarted using the start button on the machine. In this mode the machine can only be moved using emergency operation, other functions are disconnected. When emergency operation is deacti- vated the machine turns off and has to be restarted using the remote control.
