Ubicación incorrecta de la guía y avance incorrecto de la pieza de trabajo

La guía y/o la pieza de trabajo están ubicados incorrectamente cuando dicha ubicación dé como resultado lo siguiente:

•La parte delantera de la broca está al descubierto durante la realización del corte (Fig. A).

•“Fresado concurrente”: La broca no debe penetrar en la pieza de trabajo en el mismo sentido que el sentido de avance, lo cual es probable que haga que la pieza de trabajo “trepe” y puede causar pérdida de control durante la operación (Fig. B).

“Trampas de la guía”: Un tipo de ubicación incorrecta de la

guía que exige atención especial: Las “trampas de la guía” ocurren cuando la guía se posiciona tan atrás que el lado delantero (el lado del interruptor de encendido) de la pieza de trabajo estaría detrás de la broca de fresadora.

Las trampas de la guía son peligrosas por dos motivos:

•La broca queda al descubierto en el lado delantero (el lado del interruptor de encendido) de la pieza de trabajo.

•Es muy probable que se produzca un fresado concurrente, lo cual puede causar pérdida de control.

En la Fig. A se muestra una trampa de la guía.

No haga avanzar la pieza de trabajo de izquierda a derecha (Fig. B).

•Esto causaría fresado concurrente.

•Sería difícil mantener la pieza de trabajo contra los refrentados de la guía, porque la rotación de la broca empujaría la pieza de trabajo alejándola de la guía.
