Jenn-Air'sventilationsystemis designedto capture both cookingfumes and smoke

from any place on the grill surface. If the systemdoes not, these are some ducting installationsituationsto check:

6" diameter round or 31 '' x 10" rectangularducting should be used. Note: 5" diameter round ducting may be used for venting stra_'ghtout the back of the cooktopand directlythroughthe wall for 10' or less.

No morethanthree 90° elbowsshouldbe used.Distancebetweenelbowsshould be at least18".

RecommendedJenn-Air wall cap should be used. Make sure damper moves freely when ventilationsystemis operating.
