Wipeup excessgreaseandfoodspilloverswhichhavenot bakedon the bottom of the oven. Large accumulationsof soil can cause heavy smoke or fire in the ovenduringthecleaningprocess.Foreaseof cleaning,the heatingelement can be liftedslightly.

Althoughsmokeor fire in the oven is a normal occurrenceand there is no safety problem, there will be venting of excessivesmoke and odor. Smoke and odorcanbe removedfrom the kitchenby turningon the ventilationsystem.

Auto Clean Feature

This model features AUTO CLEAN to simplify cleaning an average soiled oven. To use,merelyset SELECTOR andTEMPERATURE knobsto CLEAN, LOCK DOOR, and push ENTER button twice. The oven will clean for 2_ hours (plus cool-down

time). For a heavilysoiled oven or to start cleaning at a later time, refer to section below.

Steps to Follow for Self-Cleaning Process

1. Turn SELECTOR knob to CLEAN.

2.Turn TEMPERATURE knobfully clockwise to

CLEAN until it comes to a full stop. The door cannot be locked if TEMPERATURE knob is not in the CLEAN position.

3. Close oven door (if opened).

4.To lock door, move DOOR LOCK LEVER to the full right position.
