4 Setting Up Your HP iPAQ

Step 1: Remove the battery cover and insert the SIM card

1.Press the release button on the battery cover and slide the cover down and away from the HP iPAQ.

2.Remove the battery.

NOTE: If the battery is already installed, remove it before inserting the SIM card. The SIM card is provided by a mobile phone service provider.

3.Place the SIM card in the provided slot.

NOTE: Make sure that the metal contacts are facing down and the notched corner is in the correct position.

4.Slide the SIM card into the slot.
