Drive power cable

1.Prepare the computer for disassembly (Preparation for disassembly on page 20).

2.Remove the access panel (Access panel on page 21).

3.Disconnect the cable from the optical drive (1) and the hard drive (2)

4.Remove the cable from the clips on the base pan and on the side of the hard drive cage (3).

5.Disconnect the cable from the system board connector labeled SATAPWR0 (4), and then remove the cable from the computer.

To reinstall the drive power cable, reverse the removal procedure.
