results using multiple racks at the same time. Foods

cooked on a single oven rack will generally cook faster and more evenly with convection baking. Multiple oven

rack cooking may slightly increase cook times for some foods, but the overall result is time saved. Breads and pastries brown more evenly.

Tips for convection baking

The amount of time you save will vary depending on the amount and type of food you are cooking. When baking cookies or biscuits, you should use pans with no sides or very low sides to allow the heated air to circulate around the food. Using a pan with a dark fi nish will allow faster cooking times.

When using convection baking with a single rack, place the oven rack in position . If cooking on multiple racks, place the oven racks in positions 2 and .

When baking a cake, using the bake mode will produce better results.
