that gas can contact them on all sides. Avoid stacking the embers on top of each other.

NOTE: Do not block gas ports.

G. Glass Door Replacement

Remove the grille: Slide the grille out of the slots in the exist- ing door.

Remove the existing door from the appliance.

Remove the crown from the existing door by removing four screws on the back side of the door assembly. Pull crown off door face.

Install replacement door with glass onto appliance.

Reinstall the crown.

Reinstall the grille onto the new door assembly.

Figure 8.10 Place twig over the locator pin on the rear log, gently laying the log across the two front logs. To complete your log set application reinstall the front of the unit.

F. Mineral Wool

WARNING

Explosion Risk.

Follow ember placement instructions in manual.

Do NOT place embers directly over burner ports.

Replace ember material annually.

Improperly placed embers interferes with proper burner operation.

CAUTION

Handle glass assembly with care.

Inspect the gasket to ensure it is undamaged.

Inspect the glass for cracks, chips or scratches.

Do NOT strike, slam or scratch glass.

Do NOT operate appliance with glass door removed, cracked, broken or scratched.

Replace glass assembly as a complete assembly.
