Conversion from Natural Gas (1.0 kPa) to LPG X Propane (2.75 kPa)

nnA suitably competent person must perform the conversion. After conversion the installation must comply with the relevant regulations and also the local electricity supply company requirements. Read the instructions before converting this appliance.

Failure to convert the appliance correctly could

invalidate any warranty or liability claims and lead to prosecution.

When servicing or replacing gas-carrying

nn

components disconnect from the gas supply before starting operation. Check the appliance is gas sound after completion.

DO NOT use reconditioned or unauthorised gas

nn

controls.

Disconnect from the electricity and gas supply

nn

before servicing.

Before electrical reconnection, check that the

nn

appliance is electrically safe.

Injectors

Remove the burner caps and heads. Remove the old jets (Fig.8-1). Fit the new jets (see the ‘Technical Data’ section at the back of this book for the correct jets). Reassemble in reverse order.

Tap Adjustment

Classic – Removing the Control Panel

Remove the handrail. Now remove the 2 cross-headed screws hidden behind the handrail end brackets (Fig.8-2).

Pull o￿ all the control knobs and remove the ￿xing screws underneath the control panel.

Lift the control panel and pull forwards, taking care not to damage or strain the wiring.

Toledo – Removing the Control Panel

Pull o￿ all the control knobs and remove the ￿xing screws underneath the control panel.

Slide the control panel to the right and then pull forwards, taking care not to damage or strain the wiring.

Replacing the Tap Bypass Screws

Unscrew the tap bypass screw (Fig.8-3)and, using a pair of long nosed pliers, remove. Fit the correct replacement screw (see the ‘Technical Data’ section for details) and tighten down.

Re￿t the control panel.
