A Telnet command-prompt window opens.

3.At the Login prompt, type the initial default user name, USERID, and press Enter. At the Password prompt, type the initial default password, PASSW0RD (the sixth character is a zero, not the letter O). The user name and password are case sensitive.

4.If you are accessing the switch module for the first time, press Enter to change the switch passwords. You are prompted for a password for the root, factory, and user accounts.

A window similar to the one in Figure 20 opens.

After you have changed all of the passwords, the command prompt is displayed in a window similar to the one in Figure 21.
