Operation

The hood is designed to remove smoke, cooking vapors and odors from the cooktop area. For best results, start the hood before cooking and allow it to operate several minutes after the cooking is complete to clear all smoke and odors from the kitchen.

The hood control panel is located on the right-hand front surface of the hood.

Operating the light:

ON: Push the right-hand button “L” in.

OFF: Push “L” in again.

Operating the blower:

Button “1” is the blower ON/OFF button and operates the blower at “LOW” speed. This button must be pushed in for the blower to operate at any speed.

ON/LOW speed: Push button “1” in. The blower will operate at “LOW” speed and the blower indicator light will light up to indicate blower is “ON”.

MEDIUM speed: Push in button “2”.

HIGH speed: Push button “3”.

OFF: Push in button”1”.

Replacing the Halogen lamps:

This hood uses two 12-volt, 20 watt halogen lamps.

Before you begin, make sure that the range hood is turned off and that the lamps have had sufficient time to cool.

To replace a halogen lamp:

Disconnect power.

Use a Phillips screwdriver and remove the retainer clips located at each end of the lamp panel.

Slide the lamp panel all the way to the right. Lower the left end of the panel below the support tabs.

Remove the panel by sliding it

back to the left. Set panel aside.
