WARNING

Electrical Shock Hazard

Disconnect power before servicing.

Replace all parts and panels before operating.

Failure to do so can result in death or electrical shock.

SINGLE ELEMENT

INFINITE SWITCHES

Refer to page 4-2 for the procedure for servic- ing a single element infinite switch.

NOTE: Refer to the Wiring Diagram that is supplied with the unit to determine the wiring for the infinite switch you are servicing.

1.Unplug range or disconnect power.

2.Set the ohmmeter to the R x 1 scale.

3.Turn the appropriate infinite switch to the On position.

4.Touch the ohmmeter test leads to termi-

nals L1 and P. The meter should indicate continuity (0 ).

5.Touch the ohmmeter test leads to termi-

nals L1 and H1. The meter should indicate continuity (0 ).

6.Touch the ohmmeter test leads to termi-
