1)Comme pour tous les appareils électriques, vérifier que le cordon d’alimentation n’est pas endommagé avant de le brancher.

2)S’assurer que la fiche est branchée. (La partie argentée ne doit pas être apparente)

3)Enlever le couvercle du boîtier en plaçant vos index dans les rainures encastrées de chaque côté du couvercle. Soulever le couvercle et le mettre de côté.

4)Insérez le filtre à charbon dans les deux fentes triangulaires situées à droite dans le boîtier, partie étroite vers le bas et côté blanc vers l’avant de la fontaine (voir fig. 1a). Le filtre glisse facilement en place, mais veillez à l’enfoncer jusqu’au bout.

Remarque: Bien rincer le filtre à l’eau froide avant de le placer dans le boîtier. Ceci enlèvera tout résidu de charbon qui est toutefois sans danger pour votre animal. Une petite quantité de charbon peut s’échapper pendant la durée de vie du filtre. Ceci est normal, et n’est pas nocif pour votre animal.

5)Installez la fontaine à l’endroit désiré. Si vous la posez sur une moquette, du carrelage ou un parquet en bois, mettez un tapis de protection ou tout autre type de toile solide et imperméable pour protéger votre sol des éclaboussures ou des gouttes faites par votre animal.

6)Remplissez l’appareil d’eau. Versez l’eau dans le boîtier du filtre et dans l’écuelle, ce qui préparera la pompe. Remettez le couvercle en place.

7)Avant de brancher la fontaine, assurez-vous que vos mains et le cordon sont secs. Branchez l’appareil dans une prise murale.
