1)Coperchio della custodia: il coperchio della custodia scatta in posizione sopra la custodia del filtro. Permette allontanare gli animali “indagatori” dal filtro al carbone attivo.

2)Custodia/Custodia del filtro: qui l’acqua viene pompata e fatta scorrere attraverso la custodia; viene quindi ciclata attraverso il filtro al carbone attivo e fatta uscire dal becco creando un getto d’acqua che cade a cascata nella ciotola.

3)Filtro sostituibile al carbone attivo: è un filtro composto da tre strati di carbone granulato ricavato dai gusci delle noci di cocco. Il filtro assorbe sapori e odori cattivi durante il passaggio dell’acqua, e aiuta a mantenere l’acqua fresca stimolando gli animali a bere dalla fontana. Il filtro deve essere sostituito ogni 2-4 settimane.

4)Prefiltro: una piccola griglia che cattura particelle consistenti, come peli e residui di cibo prima che raggiungano il filtro. Per rimuovere il filtro, afferrarne l’aletta sul lato superiore e tirare verso l’alto. Per riposizionare il filtro, farlo scorrere a ritroso sulla manopola di regolazione del flusso e spingerlo verso il basso finché rimane agganciato alla manopola.

5)Ciotola: la ciotola è la base della fontana in cui alloggia il motore.

6)Manopola di regolazione del flusso: la manopola nera fissata al motore che regola il flusso dell’acqua. Il prefiltro scatta intorno al collo della manopola di regolazione del flusso e si blocca in posizione. La manopola è fissata al motore e può essere rimossa smontando il motore (Vedi sezione “Manutenzione del motore”).

7)Motore o Pompa: una piccola pompa d’acquario sommersa che può essere smontata per la pulizia. LA POMPA NON È LAVABILE IN LAVASTOVIGLIE! Rimuovere la pompa dalla fontana prima della pulizia (Vedi “Manutenzione del motore”). Il cavo della pompa è dotato anche di una spina di raccordo rimovibile per il facile fissaggio.
