5.RANGE CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

5.1CLEANING

5.1.1. Range Exterior

Clean the exterior of the range with warm water and a mild detergent. Rinse thoroughly and dry the stainless steel components with a soft cloth.

If any stains are difficult to remove, we recommend that you use products specifically designed for stainless steel. Test the product on a small area before you apply it to the entire surface. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions closely. Wash the burner top frequently and make sure to remove any deposits which could block the flame outlet.

Important: If you should need to remove the burners for cleaning purposes, we recommend you make sure all parts are correctly positioned before igniting the burners again.

To clean the cooktop, use slightly damp sponges and wiping cloths, if too much water is used it could penetrate the cooktop and damage internal/electrical parts.

Clean the glass parts with hot water, avoiding the use of rough cloths. Do not use stainless steel pads or acid-based cleaners.

To prevent ignition difficulties, carefully clean the lighting spark plugs regularly (ceramic and electrode). If the knobs become difficult to turn, contact a qualified engineer to lubricate the taps. Contact a qualified engineer to deal with any other problems which may arise during use.

The cast iron grates of the cooktop are dishwasher safe.

THE GRATES OF THE COOKTOP ARE EQUIPPED WITH RUBBER FEET GRIPS, PROVIDING BETTER STABILITY AND AVOIDING SCRATCHES ON THE COOKTOP SURFACES DURING USAGE. AFTER REMOVING GRATES FOR CLEANING AND/OR MAINTENANCE, WE RECOMMEND YOU MAKE SURE THE RUBBER PADS ARE BACK IN THEIR PROPER PLACE BEFORE PUTTING THE GRATES BACK IN THEIR CORRECT POSITION. (See figure on the next page).
