ENSURINGPROPER AIRCIRCULATION

In order to ensure proper tempera- tures, you need to permit air flow between the two sections. As shown in the illustration, cool .air enters through the top of the freezer section

(A)and moves down. Most of the air then flows through the freezer section and recirculates out of the bottom of the freezer (B). The rest of the air enters the fresh section through the top vent (C).

Do not block any vents with food packages. If the vents are blocked, air flow will be prevented and temperature and moisture problems may occur.

IMPORTANT: Because air circulates between both sections, any odors formed in one section will transfer to the other. You must thoroughly clean both sections to eliminate odors. To prevent odor transfer and drying out of food, wrap or cover foods tightly. (See the “FoodStorage Guide” section for details.)

Pour s’assurer d’avoir les temperatures appropriees, il faut permettre a I’air de circuler entre les deux sections. Comme I’indique I’illustration, le froid penetre a la pat-tie superieure de la section du congelateur (A) et se deplace vers le bas. La plus grande partie de I’air penetre ensuite dans la section du congelateur et recircule pour sortir a la base du congelateur (B). Le reste de I’air pen&e a la section fraiche a travers les ouvertures d’aeration superieures (C).

Ne pas obstruer I’une ou I’autre de ces ouvertures d’a6ration avec des aliments. Si les ouvertures d’aeration sont obstruees, le debit d’air sera bloque et des problemes de temperature et d’humidite peuvent survenir.

IMPORTANT : Comme I’air circule entre les deux sections, toutes les odeurs formees dans une section seront transferees a I’autre. Vous devez nettoyer a fond les deux sections pour Bliminer les odeurs. Pour empecher le transfert d’odeurs et les aliments de devenir sets, envelopper ou placer un couvercle sur les contenants d’aliments.
