WIRING
BLOWER CONNECTION AT
HOOD (DUCTWORK ON THE CEILING)
CAUTION: All electrical wiring should be done by a qualified person (s) in
accordance with all applicable codes and standards. This range hood must be properly grounded. Turn off electrical power at service entrance before wiring.
Do not turn power on at service panel until all wires have been connected.
Blower connection at hood:
CONNECT:
Exterior or
blower
BOX MARKED “MOTOR CONNECTION”
1. | Run conductors |
| the Exterior or |
| wiring box marked “motor connection”. |
| See Fig. 1 if the ductwork is placed on the |
| ceiling; see Fig. 2 if the ductwork is placed |
| on the wall. |
2. | Remove the cover from the wiring box. |
| Fig. 1 or 2. |
3. | Secure the conduit to the wiring box |
| through a conduit connector. Fig.1 or 2 |

4. | Make electrical connections at the hood. |

5. | Replace the wiring box cover and screws. |
| Make sure wires are not pinched between |
| the cover and box. |
