At operatingtemperature,theshorteningin thefryer may behotterthan375Of (190°C). This hot, melted shorteningwill causeseverebums. Do not let the hot shorteningtouch your skin or clothing. Always wear insulatedoil-proof gloves when working on the filter system.

a.To removethefilter pan,disconnectthefilter tubeoonnection.Thisis doneby sliding theinsulatedportionof theconnectoroutof thereceivingportionof theoonnector.

b.Graspthefilterpanandgently pull theassemblyout thefront of thefryer, removetheflIter panlid.

Remove the aumb catch tray from the top of the filter pan. Discard any debris that may

be in the crumb catch.
