You can edit an
Figure 59 shows the Edit RS-232 Command window open, containing a replacement macro command string. Clicking the Edit RS-232 Command window’s OK button will replace the RS- 232 command string in the Macro Editor window with this new command string.
Stop Macro

The Stop Macro command (Figure 60) causes the macro to stop executing at the point where it is inserted. Under normal circumstances the Stop Macro command will not be needed, since macros automatically stop when they are finished. It is intended to be used along with the STATUS TEST command (see page 39) to end a macro if a certain condition is met.

61) lets you repeat a particu-
lar macro com-
mand either until the button is
released or for a specific number
of times. This can be useful when
controlling com-
ponents that require certain commands be repeated to take
effect, or when issuing commands for buttons like volume controls, that can have continuous action.
