Ceiling Mount
The bottom of the OMNISAT is molded into a specifically designed shape to accommodate the supplied stand/ceiling clip. Install the clip on the ceiling then slide the OMNISAT onto the clip. It is installed. See Diagram 8.

If you choose the keyway installation, simply drive the screw into the wall, leaving approximately 1/4 inch of the screw and screw head exposed. Insert the screw head into the wide part of the channel and slide the Omnisat into place.

The versatile Macromount bracket provides the sturdiest wall mount.The terminal of the Macromount bracket fits the 3/8”, 16 thread insert located at the back of the OMNISAT. If the OMNISAT is positioned above six feet, position it so the grille faces downward. If the OMNISAT is positioned below six feet, position it so the grille faces upward. Drywall anchors arerecommended for any drywall ceiling or wall mount installation.

The Mirage OMNISAT has been designed for high performance in a wide variety of settings, but here are a few helpful hints that will help to maximize performance and your enjoyment.
Left and Right Channels
A general guideline for speaker placement is to set up the space between speaker and listener at approximately

Center Channel
A center channel can be expected to reproduce as much as 60% of a movie’s soundtrack, most of which is dialogue. In order to maintain the effect of voices emanating from the actor’s mouth, the OMNISAT being used as the center channel should be centrally located between the left and right OMNISAT and be placed above or below the television.

Surround Channel
The OMNISAT used as surround speakers should be positioned adjacent to and slightly behind the primary listening area, on the rear or side wall or on the ceiling to provide a sense of spaciousness and ambience for all Surround Sound formats.
