Boom Mower PRE-OPERATION Inspection

Before conducting the inspection, make sure the tractor engine is off, all rotation has stopped and the tractor is in park with the parking brake engaged. Make sure the mower is resting on the ground or securely blocked up and all hydraulic pressure has been relieved.

The Operator’s Manual is in the canister on the mower

All safety decals are in place and legible

The Mounting frame bolts are in place and tight

The Boom connection bolts & pins are tight

There are no cracks in boom

The Hydraulic Cylinders pins are tight

The Hydraulic Pump hose connections are tight

The Hydraulic Valve hose connections are tight

The Hydraulic Valve controls function properly

There are no leaking or damaged hoses

The Hydraulic Oil level is full

There is no evidence of Hydraulic leaks

The Blades are not chipped, cracked or bent

The Blade bolts are tight

The Deflectors are in place and in good condition

The Mower shields are in place and in good condition

The Skid shoes are in good condition & tight

There are no cracks or holes in mower deck

The Hyd. motor mounting bolts are tight

The mower head spindle housing is tight and lubricated
