Charging the Battery

The battery in this mower is sealed and maintenance

 

 

free, and requires no service other than charging. If the

 

 

battery will not accept a charge, bring the mower to an

 

 

authorized service center for service.

1. Connect the battery charger to the battery con-

nector (A, Figure 14), and plug the charger into a

 

 

120-volt outlet for 12-24 hours. (Longer periods will

 

 

not damage the battery.)

 

 

2. Remove the charger from the battery connector,

 

 

and connect the battery connector to the engine

 

 

harness connector (B).

 

 

Important: Use only the charger supplied with the

 

 

mower to charge the battery. Using a different charger

 

 

may damage the battery and/or mower.
