Operation		Charging the Battery
		Charging the Battery
		(7800887)
		The battery in this mower is sealed and maintenance
		free, and requires no service other than charging. If the
		battery will not accept a charge, bring the mower to an
		authorized service center for service.
B	C	1. Connect the battery charger to the battery con-
B	C	nector (A, Figure 14), and plug the charger into a
		120-volt outlet for 12-24 hours. (Longer periods will
		not damage the battery.)
		2. Remove the charger from the battery connector,
		and connect the battery connector to the engine
		harness connector (B).
		Important: Use only the charger supplied with the
		mower to charge the battery. Using a different charger
		may damage the battery and/or mower.

				charging the battery. Never use “BOOST” chargers on
				the battery.
