Placement and connection of the guide wire

1.Check that the charging station has the best placement.

The guide wire together with the part of the boundary wire that makes up the return to the charging station is known as the guide loop. The current in the guide loop always goes to the left in the connection between the guide wire and the boundary wire.

The adjoining picture shows what is considered a guide loop.

The picture is also a good example of an ideal position for the charging station to give the shortest possible guide loop.

The guide loop may be a maximum of

200 metres long. When the guide loop is longer, there is a risk Automower can not follow the guide wire.

2.Lift up the cover on the charging station.

3.Insert the end of the guide wire into the lower right-hand hole on the charging station and catch it in the upper hole.

4.Secure a connector on the guide wire.

5.Connect the guide wire to the contact pin on the charging station marked G.

6.Route the cable straight under the charging station plate.
