7.Garden example - proposed installation and settings

The behaviour of the mower is controlled by the settings that are made. Adapting the mower's garden settings according to the shape of the garden makes it easier for the Automower from Husqvarna™ to frequently reach all parts of the garden and in doing so achieve a perfect mowing result.

Different gardens require different settings. A number of garden examples and proposed installations and settings are presented on the following pages. Functions where the settings deviate from the mower’s default settings are shown in bold.

For further and more detailed information about the different settings, see chapter 6. Menu functions on page 47.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

The default setting for Automower has been chosen to work on as many different gardens as possible. The settings only need to be adjusted when special installation conditions exist, for example, narrow passages.

Proposals for installation and settings

Area: 400 m2. No guide wire is necessary. The mower’s default settings do not need to be changed.

Timer: Operating time of 5 hours per day.

Garden shape: Open.

Exit angles: One sector 90°-270°.

Search method: Irregular.

Delay: Guide wire 7 minutes and boundary wire 11 minutes.
