3.15 Configuring Scan Settings

You can configure the Default File Type Settings and Default Scan Settings For File Types. This causes the default scan settings to automatically change based on the file type that is selected.

1.Click [Scan Settings].

If necessary, see the screen shot in step 18 of “Flow of Configuration Operations,” on p. 35.

2.Specify the Default File Type Settings.

Default File Type Settings

Default File Type Selected: If want to change the default file type, select a file

	type from the drop-down list. The default Default File
	Type Selected is ‘PDF’.
Disabled:	Select this check box if you want to disable and gray
	out the File Type drop-down list on the SCAN
	SETTINGS screen.
