0 OK The previous command has been
processed successfully.
1 CONNECT The modem has just connected to
another modem.
2 RING Reports the receipt of a network
altering ring.
3 NO CARRIER No carrier is being received from the
modem.
4 ERROR The previous command line has not
been recognized or was completed
abnormally.
5 NO DIAL (Optional) Dial tone was not received
TONE within the time-out period.
6 BUSY (Optional) A busy signal was deleted.
64 CONNECT/ (Optional) The modem has established
FAX a fax connection. This response is used
only when the fax mode is selected.
