Step2 Select Transfer > Send File in the HyperTerminal’s window. Click Browse in the pop-up dialog box (as shown in Figure 5-5) to select the application file to be downloaded (for example, bootrom.btm), and select Xmodem from the Protocol drop-down list.

Step3 Click Send. The following dialog box appears:

After the Boot ROM file is downloaded, the terminal displays the following information:

You do not need to reset the HyperTerminal’s baud rate and can skip the last step if you have chosen 19200 bps. In this case, the system returns to the Boot ROM update menu directly instead of displaying the prompt "Your baudrate should be set to 19200 bps again! Press enter key when ready".
