Configure UNIX Environment
Step 1. Login as root user.
Step 2. Use an editor, such as vi, to add the vsadmin group
to the /etc/group file. This file must contain a line
entry for each group recognized by the system. The
format of each entry is:

The newly created line should look similar to the
following example.
For example, if the eleventh group id is not assigned,
it should be placed as the 11th line entry in the file so
that its gid is in numerical order with the other
entries
groupname:password:gid:[user-list]
Option Description
groupname Name of the group.
password Encrypted group password or * if no
password.
gid Group’s numerical identifier within the
system; it must be unique.
user-list Comma-separated list of users allowed
in the group.
