Antenna Installation Instructions

	Instructions for Installing the 3G NIM Antennas
Step	Action

1Remove power from the base unit.

2Place either of the two antennas directly onto the antenna port labeled ANT1 on the rear panel.

3Using the thumb screws only, carefully thread the antenna onto the connector until it is secure.

4Repeat Step 2 with the second antenna, attaching it to the ANT2 (diversity) port.

5Once both antennas are secured, the antennas can be flexed at the joint to increase reception.

6Position antennas in a “V” shape at a 90 degree angle to each other, as shown in Figure 43.
