1 Insert a cassette.

2 Set the FUNCTION switch to RADIO.

For CSD-ES770,make sure that the ~ light of the OPE/BATT/DIR indicator is on. If it is not on, press the DIR button to turn it on.

3 Set the BAND switch to select a band.

4 Turn the TUNING control to tune in to a station. 5 Press the REC button to start recording.

The PLAY button is depressed automatically.

The REVERSE MODE button is also depressed (CSD-ES770 only).
