TV Output Select

Select “S-Video” when connecting to a TV set with an S-Video cord.

CAUTION

Do not select "S-Video" when connecting to the TV set with the 21pin scart cable. Video signals are not output from the 21pin scart connector of this unit.

1	At the SETUP menu, press i/k to
	select “TV Output Select” and press l.

Video output settings

S-Video:

Video signals are output from the S-VIDEO OUT jack on the unit.

SCART R-G-B:

Video signals are output from the 21-pin scart connector on the unit.

NOTE

Video signals are always output from the VIDEO OUT jack on the unit regardless of these settings.

Others (Pseudo PAL/PBC)

The Pseudo PAL and Playback Control settings(PBC) can be changed.

Pseudo PAL settings

Pseudo PAL On:

A NTSC DVD disc can be played back with the PAL colour system TV set, depending on the disc.

Pseudo PAL Off:

A NTSC DVD disc cannot be played back with the PAL colour system TV set.

NOTE

The Pseudo PAL function only works when TV SYSTEM SELECT switch on the rear panel is set to “PAL”.

PlayBack Control (PBC) settings

PBC On:

Video CDs are played back according to the PBC.

PBC Off:

Video CDs can be played back in the same way as Audio CDs.
