Configuring the Provider Unit

After performing the procedure described in the previous section, ”Starting a Configuration Session” on page 36, if you are connected to the Provider unit, the AT- MC60x Configurator menu will appear. The Configurator bar at the top of the menu indicates whether or not the Provider unit has established an Ethernet link by displaying [link DOWN] or [link UP] in brackets.

The AT-MC60x Configurator menu has three screens: Configuration, VDSL Status, and Ethernet Status. The parameters on these screens are described below. Use the tabs at the top of the menu to toggle between these screens. When you have finished viewing or adjusting the parameters on the menu screens, click the Close button on the bottom right of the menu to exit from the configuration software.

Configuration The Configuration screen displayed in Figure 21 is shown first by default.
