Entering Data at the Keypad
The alphanumeric keypad is used to enter data such as hexadecimal addresses and
operates in the following manner. For each consecutive press of a key, the display will
show the next character in sequence associated with that key. When you press a different
key the last value selected will be entered and the cursor moves to the next position. If you
want to enter two or more characters from the same key, you must press the [Forward]
soft key to enter the value and move on to the next entry position.
For example, to enter the address 000091E082A5, you would need to press the following
keys in the sequence shown:
